Automated Rows

Automated rows provide more flexibility than Editorial Rows and will dynamically change based upon the Filter Rules and Sort Rules that you set.

Filter Rules

Filter rules are used to automatically select the content on the Freeform platform that will appear in a row. The following filter options are available:

  • Content Type - filter what content appears in the row by setting this to All, Shows or Movies
  • Gated - content in the row can be filtered by whether or not it requires a TV provider to watch
  • Genre - content in the row can be filtered by their genre
  • Popularity (Video Views) - content in the row can be filtered based on the number of video views it has had during a specified period of time, ranging from the last 4 hours to the last 28 days
  • Popularity (Unique Viewers) - content in the row can be filtered based on the number of viewers it has had during a specified period of time, ranging from the last 4 hours to the last 28 days

Sort Rules

Once the content has been filtered down, the order of the content is determined by the sort rules. The following sort options are avilable:

  • Alphabetical - sort content from A to Z
  • Popularity (Video Views) - sort content by the number of video views each have had during a specified period of time, ranging from the last 4 hours to the last 28 days
  • Popularity (Unique Viewers) - sort content by the number of viewers each have had during a specified period of time, ranging from the last 4 hours to the last 28 days
  • Latest - sort content by the latest to have arrived on the Freeform platform
  • Random - sort content randomly
